Our Doctor

Dr. Christine Truong is the owner and optometrist at Frame & Sight Optometry. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry and her Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine.

Born in Texas, raised in Orange County, and having lived in Chicago and later Los Angeles, Dr. Truong’s experiences across the country have shaped her appreciation for diverse communities. Now based in Long Beach, she values how the city blends the energy of Los Angeles with the coastal charm of Orange County. It has become the ideal place to care for patients from both regions while celebrating Long Beach’s distinct sense of community.

From the beginning of her career, Dr. Truong envisioned a practice that combines advanced technology, modern design, and personalized care. Her goal is to make every patient feel seen, heard, and cared for, whether through a comprehensive eye exam, a customized dry eye treatment plan, or helping someone find eyewear that fits their individual style.

With experience in both private and corporate settings, Dr. Truong brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to every visit. She is especially passionate about dry eye management, myopia control for children, specialty contact lenses, and maintaining a thoughtfully curated eyewear selection that blends fashion with function.

Outside of the office, Dr. Truong enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young daughters. Their weekends often include visits to Disneyland and exploring new boba spots.

As a proud member of the Long Beach community, Dr. Truong is grateful to care for patients like neighbors. She values the relationships built in the exam room and is committed to helping families see life more clearly and comfortably.
